Gilles started skateboarding in 2000 in Taverne, a little town near Lugano. He skated therewith his friends Fabrizio and Sandro. After a while, he went to Lugano to check out new skate spots. There he met for the first time the Warriors! From this moment on, he skated every day, trying to push himself and his limits. He loves skateboarding in other countries and get to know other skaters. Last year he was on tour with the Vans Europe team. It was a great experience for Gilles and motivated him even more for skateboarding. Now he’s studying to work with children and people with handicaps. But what Gilles really wants and needs to be happy in his life, is skateboarding!
