Markus started snow-boarding in 1993 and got his first results in contests at the end of the 90’s, becoming Half pipe Swiss champion for 3 years in a row. He then became Halfpipe World champion at the age of 21. He loves freeriding and fresh snow, but for him contests are a big a part of his sport… but he also likes to enjoy every aspect of Snowboarding… that’s how it should be! Markus does not like to plan his life, for the moment he just takes his time to enjoy this lifestyle, his time is split between travels, his girlfriend and family.
